The articles and reviews published in JECES from vol. 68 (2019) onwards are freely available under the Creative Commons License BY-NC-ND. We do not charge authors any publication fees and encourage them to publish their contributions to JECES on scientific repositories and platforms. As a member of the Leibniz Association, the Herder Institute and its in-house publisher are committed to a policy of open access and actively fosters the emergence of a research culture on site that is open access friendly. The Herder Institute’s open access policy, to which JECES also adheres, is available for downloading here.
